首屈一指大馬时装周正式引爆。引來年度潮流話題。
The Malaysia fashion week festival with " Vintage STYLO : Fashion Art Beauty" kick off on 14th October 2019 at the Black Box with the Stylo Gentleman's Weekend Suit Walk. Guest of honour YAM Tunku Puteri Johor Tunku Kamariah Aminah Maimunah opens the show accompanied by Bon Zainal, the Co-Chairman of MFW Festival and Rolv Reissiger, Chairman of STYLO Gentleman's Weekend. International Guest of Honour is the Brunei High Commissioner H. E. Dato Paduka Haji Alaihuddin.
"The MFW Festival is introduced for the first time today (a B2C and B2B show) though we have runthe MFW Trade Show (B2B show) for the past 6 years. It is a sneak peek of greater creative things to come - art, beauty, music, dance, food, fashion and architecture housed within the STYLO brand. STYLO has been synonymous with the F1, supercars, helicopters, beauty queen and all forms of 'celebrity-hood', says Datuk Nancy Yeoh, Chairman of MFW Festival.
Runway show will be hosted within the Black Box where Malaysian and International Fashion designers showcase their products on the 20th of October 2019. In addition, there will be an " Art meet Fashion" showcase as well as the appearance of 8 finalists from the Miss Astro Chinese International pageant.
Deputy Minister of Tourism YB Muhammad Bakhtiar is the Guest of Honour on the 20th of October 2019 at 6pm.
He will witness the signing of agreement between MFW Festival with Gurney Paragon Mall in Penang and MFW MODESTYLE Trade show with Seberang Prai Convention centre in Seberang Prai.
These show will take place on April 2020 in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2020.
There will be 16 awards presented that night including the Professor JIMMY CHOO award for the Next designer and accessories designer of 2019. In attendance is also Dato Jimmy Choo, Advisor of MFW Festival.
The MFW Festival will be held at the Gallery, White box, Black box and the Square of Publika, Sponsors and partners include Publika, Coca-Cola, Astro, MBDA Malaysian Bumiputra Designers Association, Emphasise Communications, TAHP Automotive, A Cut Above and Snips as well as the women's federation of commerce and industry.
