In her second term as Chairlady, Joyce Chao shared a heartfelt reflection on how the pageant transformed her life:
“This pageant shaped me into the woman I am today. Before joining, I was just an ordinary psychologist — I didn’t know how to walk in heels or perform a catwalk. But this journey challenged me, strengthened me, and helped me discover new possibilities in life. You don’t need to be perfect to begin. I encourage more people to join and explore the possibilities that await.”
As part of the nationwide publicity campaign, five billboards will be going up across major highways in Kuala Lumpur starting early June, in collaboration with Spectrum Outdoor.
Founder Carrie Lee, who also celebrates 21 years of pageant success this year, announced that Miss CosmoWorld 2025 is expanding globally, opening doors for other countries to host the competition.
“We welcome enquiries from international partners. It’s time for CosmoWorld to go beyond borders,” said Lee.
With elegance, empowerment, and international ambition at its core, Miss CosmoWorld Malaysia 2025 is set to be a landmark edition — celebrating women, culture, and 21 years of homegrown success.

The VT9 reflects the brand’s vision of expanding possibilities in every journey through smart design and engineering.

Its athletic yet refined stance is defined by the signature JETOUR X-Face front, LED lighting systems, and sporty dual twin tailpipes. Inspired by traditional Chinese design, elements such as lantern-style daytime running lights and a feather-array grille fuse cultural heritage with contemporary sophistication.

Inside, it features a 7-seater cabin with foldable second and third row seats, offering up to 1,680L of cargo space. Premium touches include a leather-wrapped D-shape steering wheel, aluminium accents, and perforated seats for optimal comfort.

The centrepiece of its interior features a 10.25-inch full LCD smart twin-screen infotainment system, with 1920x70 High Resolution, Multi-touch screen while supporting wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, and intelligent voice commands for a smooth ride.

Designed to support a connected and comfortable lifestyle, the JETOUR VT9 elevates every journey with a suite of thoughtful features, including a 62-inch wide-angle panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, 50W wireless fast charging, and a clean-air cabin equipped with CN95 filtration. Designed for maximum comfort and convenience while prioritising safety without compromise, the JETOUR VT9 also comes equipped with six airbags, a high-strength steel frame, 360° HD video monitoring, and advanced driver assistance systems such as Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Hill Hold and Hill Descent Control, offering drivers and passengers peace of mind on every road.

Tested by professionals, it ensures a smooth and efficient drive with over 2 million kilometres of durability, powered by a 1.5L TCI engine paired with a 6DCT transmission. Targeting dynamic families and modern professionals, the JETOUR VT9 is available in Standard and Comfort variants, offering flexibility in features and pricing to suit a variety of lifestyles.
The Comfort variant starts from RM118,800 nett, and includes features such as LED auto headlamps, sporty red exterior trim, 19-inch alloy wheels, perforated leather seats, ambient lighting, and 50W wireless charging. The Prime variant, priced from RM123,800 nett, adds premium enhancements such as a panoramic sunroof, 6-speaker system, memory seats, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and a full suite of safety systems including BSD, RCTA, LCW, and DOW. Both variants are available in Star Black, Khaki White, Phantom Grey, Tech Grey, and Aurora Green.

ULTRAMAN THE ULTRA TOUR KICKS OFF WITH RECORD-BREAKING FAN GATHERING AND EXCITING COLLABORATIONS

PETALING JAYA, 27 FEBRUARY 2025 – Ultraman fans in Malaysia were in for a treat as Ultraman The Ultra Tour officially kicked off at Sunway Pyramid here today. The highly anticipated event, a collaboration between Tsuburaya Fields Entertainment International Pte. Ltd. (TFEI), One Universal Production Sdn. Bhd. (OUP), and Sunway Malls, brought together generations of fans to celebrate the iconic Ultra Heroes with a thrilling lineup of activities and immersive experiences.
Officiated by Dato' Kamil Othman, the launch also saw the presence of representatives from various government agencies as well as the Embassy of Japan, further underscoring the magnitude of the collaboration in strengthening cultural and entertainment ties between Malaysia and Japan.
“The significance of this collaboration extends to the global promotion of intellectual properties. As we celebrate Ultraman’s legacy here in Malaysia, we are reminded of the importance of fostering international collaborations to enhance the reach and impact of creative content,” said Kamil. “Intellectual properties like Ultraman have shaped global pop culture, and this event showcases how Malaysia can be a thriving destination for such partnerships.”
One of the major highlights of the ceremony was the record-breaking ASEAN achievement, where One Universal Production Sdn. Bhd. was presented with the official plaque by ASEAN Records after successfully gathering 270 Ultraman fans in Ultraman-inspired attire—the largest gathering of its kind in Malaysia. The excitement continued with a special appearance by Yuki Totsuka, the Japanese actor portraying Yuma Hize/Ultraman Arc, who engaged with fans in an exclusive meet-and-greet session.
"Ultraman has been a part of so many childhoods, and it’s amazing to see how the love for this iconic hero continues to grow," said Alvin Lee, Chief Executive Officer of One Universal Production Sdn. Bhd. (OUP). "Bringing Ultraman The Ultra Tour to Malaysia is truly special for us. This collaboration with Tsuburaya Fields Entertainment International and Sunway Malls isn’t just about an event—it’s about creating unforgettable memories for fans of all ages while strengthening the cultural bond between Malaysia and Japan," he added.

The Ultra Tour will take fans on an unforgettable journey across seven Sunway malls, featuring Ultra Heroes meet-and-greet sessions, an Ultraman-themed Inflatable Playland, fun activities such as the Gigabash Game Demo, and a wide variety of exclusive Ultraman merchandise. Two orphanages, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Rumah Pengasih Warga Prihatin and Persatuan Kebajikan Pusat Jagaan Rumah Kasih Harmoni Paya Jaras were presented with a charitable contribution to aid them in preparing for the upcoming holy month. The donation aimed to provide essential resources, meals, and festive necessities to ensure the children could celebrate Ramadan with joy and ease. Representatives from the orphanages expressed heartfelt gratitude, acknowledging the generosity and kindness shown by the event organizers and partners. This act of giving reflects Ultraman’s values of compassion and unity, reinforcing the event’s commitment to making a positive social impact alongside its entertainment offerings.
