Filipino Beauty Queen and TV Host Meiji Cruz has been crowned 2022 Miss CosmoWorld, besting 25 other aspirants.
Cruz won the title during the coronation night held at The St. Regis Hotel Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia on Wednesday 30th. November 2022.
Prize presented to her by sponsors Getbats Dato Sri Alvin, Dato Sri Danny together with founder Carrie Lee, TENGKU DATO DR HISHAMMUDDIN ZAIZI TENGKU AZMAN SHAH ALHAJ, Shirley Yeap (winner of Malaysia Miss CosmoWorld 2021).
The 20-year-old Filipino beauty queen took home with grand total cash and prizes worth One Million RINGGIT MALAYSIA (RM) and Cash money USD100,000. She also won a Miss Healthy from the Subsidiary Titles.
Her first and second runners-up were the representatives of Uzbekistan and Thailand, respectively.
1st Runner Up Amaliya Shakirova from Uzbekistan , 27 years old currently a student and part time model. Prize presented to her by Tan Sri NelsonTan, Dato Sri Chong Chin Fung, founder Carrie Lee, together with Joyce Chao - (1st runner-up of Malaysia Miss CosmoWorld 2021)
She won grand total of RM367,659 both in cash and prizes.
2nd Runner Up Onnapun Chiangmai from Thailand ，26 years old currently is a part time trader and helping family business.
Prize presented to her by Tan Sri Richard Cham, founder Carrie Lee, 谢少，together with Tiffany Lee - (2nd runner-up of Malaysia Miss CosmoWorld 2021).
She won grand total of RM290,660 both in cash and prizes.
